Knowledge Liaison

The Knowledge Liaison agent bridges the development workflow with your team's accumulated knowledge in Knowz vaults. During planning, it queries vaults for relevant past decisions, patterns, and gotchas. After completion, it captures new learnings, decisions, and architectural context for future reference.

How it works

The Knowledge Liaison activates at two key points: during Phase 1 (Analysis), it searches Knowz vaults for relevant context -- past architectural decisions, known gotchas, related previous work, and team conventions. During Phase 3 (Finalization), it captures learnings from the current workflow: what design decisions were made and why, any surprising findings, useful patterns discovered, and important context that future developers should know. All knowledge is routed to the appropriate vault based on configurable rules.

Why it matters

Without persistent knowledge, every AI session starts from scratch. The same mistakes get repeated, the same decisions get re-debated, and hard-won knowledge evaporates when a session ends. The Knowledge Liaison creates a cumulative knowledge loop: every development cycle enriches the knowledge base, and every new cycle benefits from all previous work. Over time, your AI assistants become genuinely knowledgeable about your project.
