Windsurf
Windsurf support is experimental, using .windsurf/rules/knowzcode.md for workflow instructions. Similar to Cursor integration, it provides structured development guidance through Windsurf's rules system. Best for developers already using Windsurf who want to add development structure.
How it works
KnowzCode generates .windsurf/rules/knowzcode.md and can pair it with workflow files as Windsurf supports them. The integration follows the same pattern as Cursor: rules guide the AI through phases, WorkGroup files track state, and natural language drives phase transitions. Windsurf's Cascade feature can follow multi-step workflows, which aligns well with KnowzCode's phased approach.

Current limitations
Like Cursor, Windsurf's rules file has context constraints. Multi-agent orchestration is simulated. MCP support is evolving. The integration provides the core workflow structure but not the full multi-agent experience of CLI platforms. As Windsurf adds more extensibility features, KnowzCode integration will deepen.
