Comments & Inbox
The add_comment and create_inbox_item MCP tools enable AI agents to participate in knowledge discussions and flag items for human attention. Comments add threaded context to knowledge items. Inbox items queue content for human review, triage, or action.
How it works
add_comment attaches a threaded comment to any knowledge item -- useful for AI agents to annotate entries with updated context, corrections, or questions. create_inbox_item queues a new item for human review, such as a finding from an audit, a suggested improvement, or a question that needs human judgment. Both tools integrate with Knowz notifications so the right people are alerted.

Why it matters
AI agents need a way to communicate findings that require human judgment. Not everything can be automatically resolved. The inbox provides a structured channel for AI-to-human communication: audit findings that need triage, knowledge items that seem outdated, potential duplicates that need human confirmation, and questions about ambiguous requirements.
